Walter Thomas Dowling

Walter Thomas Dowling, a resident of Ann’s Choice in Warminster and formerly of Chalfont, passed away peacefully Monday, December 13, 2021. He was 88 years old. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Walter and Loretta Dowling. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Patricia Dowling and his beloved children Nancy Peluso, Mary Vincent (Troy), Kevin Dowling (Michelle) and Tom Dowling (Kelly). Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Dowling and his sisters Katherine Bachman and Joan Heid. Tom graduated from East Stroudsburg College and received his master’s degree from Rider University. He worked as an educator his whole life. He taught Science and later was an Assistant Principal at both Tamanend Middle School and Central Bucks East High School. Tom was longtime parishioner of St Jude Roman Catholic Church. His true passions were family, fishing, and the Phillies. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM, Saturday, December 18, 2021, at St. Jude Church, 321 West Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA. Visitation will begin at the church at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at a later date.
