Walter E. Knight

Walter E. Knight, 91, passed away peacefully at home with his family on November 18, 2024. Beloved husband of Lillian N. Knight, father of Katrina Ann Knight and David Knight (Yuko), stepfather of Scott V. Carr (Nancy) and Alisa Carr Kaeser. Grandfather of Rigel, Sierra, and Carleton.
Walter was born in Scranton, PA and moved to Woodbury, NJ where he stayed for many years. He graduated from Temple University and was in the Army at Puget Sound, WA. He had a long career as a civilian scientist employed by the Navy. Walter enjoyed birding, travel, and camping and was an active member of Pleasantville United Church of Christ.
Friends and relatives are invited to Visitation at 10:30 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 11 AM, Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Pleasantville United Church of Christ, 3424 Limekiln Pike, Chalfont, PA 18914. Interment in Pleasantville UCC Cemetery will follow the Service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pleasantville UCC or Peace Valley Nature Center.
