Veronica K. Imsick

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Veronica, our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all whose lives she touched.

“Ronnie” left us on January 2, 2023, while sleeping peacefully at her residence in Lower Gwynedd, PA. She was in her 102nd year and was looking forward to reuniting with God and her deceased family members, especially, Roy, her loving husband of 52 years and her son, Michael.

Born on June 18, 1920, at her home on Wingohocking Street in Philadelphia, she was the youngest of seven children. She is predeceased by her siblings: Wanda, Rose, Laura, Florence, Harry and Frank and her parents, Alexsandra and Leon Kalinski.

She is the beloved mother of Carolyn (Ron Constable), Christina (John Utz), Doris (Tom Parry), Roy Jr and Michael (MaryBeth). She delighted in her nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren who loved her profoundly and vice-versa.

Veronica lived a full life as a devoted mother and homemaker. She helped establish the library for Seven Dolors School where she faithfully volunteered. In her 70’s and 80’s she worked as a secretary for an architectural firm.

She loved to cook, always serving a hearty Sunday meal with lots of leftovers and her special “sticky” buns for the Holidays. She was an accomplished seamstress sewing everything from prom dresses for her daughters, to clothes for her grandchildren and their dolls, to mending items for the Brothers of Charity. She was passionate about flower arranging and gardening. She always enjoyed a swim in her pool at her Wyndmoor house after a day of work.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on February 11, 2023, at 12 noon at St. Jude’s Catholic Church Chalfont, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to Wills Eye Foundation 840 Walnut Street Philadelphia, PA 19107 for Macular Degeneration Research.
