Thomas Bernard Carr of Horsham, PA passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. He was 67.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of late Daniel & Elizabeth (Keenan) Carr. He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie, and their nine children: Tommy & wife Kiki, Kristopher, Shawn, Colby & wife Jennie, Corley & husband Kevin O’Neil, Kendal, Jarrett, Elizabeth and Kyle. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Gianna, Colby Jr, Paxton, Palmer, Elin and soon to be grandchild number six, Luke Thomas.
Thomas, owner/operator of Tommy Carr Auto and Tire Repair in Chalfont, was well known in the community for always helping others, whether it be lending a hand, a word of advice, or making others laugh with his stories and jokes. He had a unique ability to fill any room with laughter. Thomas will always be remembered for his vibrant spirit and contagious energy.
Thomas was a devout husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was happiest when spending time with his family and riding his backhoe while working on the family farm. Thomas was deeply loved by his family and friends, all of whom will remain grateful for having known him. His spirit will forever live on.
Friends and family are invited to attend his viewings 6:30 - 9:00 PM, Thursday evening, September 14, 2017 and 9:30 AM-11 AM Friday September 15, 2017 at The Trinity Episcopal Church, 708 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, PA 19002 followed by his Funeral Service at 11 AM Friday. Interment will take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
