Theresa Kistler

Theresa “Terry” (Dudash) Kistler of Chalfont, PA passed away peacefully at home on 02-29-2020, after her brave battle with cancer.  She was 76.

Terry was born February 20, 1944 in Vulcan (Mahanoy City), PA. She graduated from Mahanoy Area High School in 1961. Terry was a devoted wife, mother and Grammy. Her recreational activities over the years included softball (coaching and playing), bowling, and bingo. However she most enjoyed spending time with her family playing cards and games.

Terry is survived by her husband of 53 years William Kistler, her daughter Patricia (Kistler) McCloskey/ William, granddaughters Shannon McCloskey and Mary Kate (McCloskey) Barrett/ Michael, sisters Mary Beaver of Nazareth, Nellie Faust of Bethlehem, Bertha Ptaszkowski of Shenandoah Heights, and a brother Alex Dudash/ Karen of Sacramento, CA. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives & friends.

She is preceded in death by her son Scott Kistler, parents John “Stiney” Dudash & Mary (Wargo) Sekella, brother Philip & sister Anna Burnham.

Theresa “Terry” was a remarkable lady always ready to listen or provide advice when needed. If you were lucky enough to know her, you loved her and she "Loved You More".

Family and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 10:15 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:15 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 321 W. Butler Ave, Chalfont.  Interment will be private.
