and Janine Capeci (David). Son-in-law of Bill and Lynn House and Brother-in-law of Thomas and Beverlee (nee
House) Miller of Spokane, Washington. Also survived by his loving nieces and nephews: Evan Curry III (Amanda),

Dillon (Steven), Danielle Curry, Madolin O’Malley (Michael), David Capeci Jr. (Prabhleen), Alexa Capeci, Cameron
Capeci, Jennifer Cogswell (Matthew), and Emily Miller. He is also survived by many precious great nieces and nephews.
Steve was born on November 30, 1966 to Evan and Nancy (nee Dark) Curry of Philadelphia. He was their fourth
son and brought such joy to their lives. Steve committed his life to Jesus Christ as a young boy about the age of
four or five. He was a smart, conscientious student and excelled throughout his Christian education, graduating
from Cedar Grove Christian Academy in 1984. He continued his education at Pennsylvania State University
where he earned a degree in Computer Science in 1989. He began his career at GE Aerospace in software
engineering, and worked at Computer Sciences Corporation in New Jersey before joining Electronic Submission
Publishing Systems (ESPS) in 1998 that is known today as Calyx, a software company in the health services
industry. His colleagues knew him as a hard-working, detail-oriented problem solver who was tenacious and
dedicated. He was gifted with the ability to solve problems and how to communicate what was done or needed
to be done. As a manager, his team appreciated his balanced approach of technical skills and communication
skills, along with his sincere interest in their families.
Sports were a big part of Steve’s life, and he loved playing wiffle ball, basketball, softball, football, disc golf and
watching the Philadelphia pro teams. He coached his church softball team to many league championships while
playing softball in his twenties.
The Lord gave Steve a heartfelt, genuine love of children and gift of teaching that were evidenced in over thirty
years of working with children at his family church, Bethel Fellowship, and Calvary Chapel of Central Bucks. He
taught junior high students, helped with youth group, and served in Children’s Ministry as a small group leader
and large group leader for elementary age children. Steve knew how to make difficult concepts easy to
understand and loved to find humor in the mundane. He could make anyone laugh, was the life of the party and
so loved all of his family.
He was a loyal, faithful, dedicated husband and father, who was committed to seeking God’s best for his family.
He was present and available every step of his children’s lives and has given them a firm foundation on which to
build the rest of their lives. For that we are forever grateful, but will miss him tremendously.
Steve was deeply touched by the outpouring of prayer, support, love shown to him and his family since his
cancer diagnosis in 2022. It gave him great comfort to know that his family would be so well supported after his
passing.
Relatives and friends are invited to Steve’s Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM at
Calvary Chapel of Central Bucks, 150 E. Butler Avenue, Chalfont, Pennsylvania 18914. Burial will be private at
the family’s request. In lieu of flowers donations to Calvary Chapel of Central Bucks would be appreciated.
