Stephen J. Taylor

Stephen Joseph Taylor of Schuylkill Haven, PA and formerly of Doylestown and Leesport died after a brief illness on Wednesday, October 19th, 2022, at 3:45pm at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. He was 66 years old. His family was at his side when he passed peacefully.

Born on December 29th, 1955, in Philadelphia, Stephen was the oldest child of the late Joseph Elbert Taylor and Maureen Teresa (Hughes) Taylor.

Throughout his life, Stephen always brought a smile to those around him. He enjoyed fine food, loved the splendor of the Pocono Mountains, and was an avid collector of fine watches. He enjoyed classic films and also had a great interest in car restoration. His warmth, that touched more than he knew, will be greatly missed.

Surviving Stephen are four siblings – Teresa M. Taylor of Perkasie, PA; James P., husband of Kristina R. (Westermark) Taylor of Chester Springs, PA; John D., husband of Janet Leigh (Bachman) Taylor of Chalfont, PA and Kevin M., husband of Cynthia L. Taylor of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. There are also eight nieces and three nephews surviving.

The family has chosen to celebrate Stephen’s life with a private service.
