Samuel D. Townsley

Samuel D. Townsley, a resident of Chalfont, passed away Friday August 23, 2019 at Greenfield Senior Living. He was 95.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Robert and Margaret Townsley and loving husband of the late Margaret (Donnelly) Townsley. He is survived by his children Marie Paone (Joe), David Townsley (Peggy) and Jim Townsley (Anne). Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Samuel was a veteran of World War II and proudly served in the United States Navy. This set up a life long love of the Navy.

Family and friends are invited to his Funeral Service, 11 AM, Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA where the viewing will begin at 10 AM. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Wounded Warriors at www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.
