Ruth Longfellow

Ruth Cecelia Longfellow, a resident of New Britain Borough, passed away Thursday April 19, 2018 at Doylestown Hospital. She was 95.

Formerly of Bond Hill, Ohio, she was the wife of the late Charles Longfellow, Sr. She is survived by her beloved children Duane Longfellow (Eileen), Marilyn Boris (Chuck), Carol Stoneback (Thomas), Gerard Longfellow (Annarose), and Janice Adams (the late Leon). Also surviving are a sister Joan Farmer (Gene), 23 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her children Charles Longfellow Jr., Ronald Longfellow, Kenneth Longfellow, Jane Adams (Mike), and Linda Hockings (the late Keith).

Ruth was a member of St. Jude's Seniors. She was an avid baseball fan, loved crossword puzzles, watching game shows and enjoyed cross stitching. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her dearly loved family.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her Funeral Mass, 11 AM, Thursday, April 26, 2018 at St. Jude Church, 321 West Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA where the viewing will begin at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to St. Jude Church at the above address.
