Rose E. Phin

Rose Phin, 93, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on February 3, 2023. Born in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret and 1 of 9 children. Rose met her husband, David, through her best friend, Joan, and David’s twin brother Harry. In the years to follow, Rose had two children, David and Kelly, and was an active member of the Warrington community. She spent her time volunteering at the Warrington Fire Company. Rose was a longtime penny party and bingo winner. Rose was well known for her upbeat demeanor. Even on a cloudy day, she could find the silver lining.

One of her favorite Irish sayings;

“May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind always be at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face,

and the rain fall soft upon your fields.

And until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of his hand.”

Rose is fondly remembered and loved by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and family are invited to gather at the Scanlin-McDonald Funeral Home Ltd. Thursday, February 9th, 6 pm-8 pm and Friday, February 10th, 10 am-11 am. Interment at St. John Neumann Cemetery.
