Robert Lewis Elsner

Past District Governor of the Lions, Robert Lewis Elsner, passed peacefully to join his wife, Harriett on April 15, 2021.

Born on November 23, 1932 in Philadelphia he follows his wife of 70 + years, Harriett Marie (Shadle).  Together they built their own house themselves in 1960.  He worked as a Marketing Coordinator for Leeds and Northrup until his retirement and 30 years as security for Pine Run Community.  An active member of Lion's International since 1982, Past District Governor of 14-A and CEO for 2011-12 and Trustee of the Lion's Eye Bank of the Delaware Valley.

He leaves behind his three children, Karen Marie Elsner, Robin Ann Conboy, Ed.D. (Timothy Sr.), and Keefe Brian (Elizabeth).  He has nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to attend his Memorial Service 11 AM, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA where the greeting will begin at 10 AM.  Please follow social distancing guidelines and wear a mask.  Interment will be private.
