Patricia Klein

Patricia Klein of Horsham, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 25, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was 85 years old. Pat, daughter of Samuel and Anna, was born and raised in Allentown. After graduating from Allentown High School in 1954, Pat spent a brief time in Washington, D.C., working for the National Security Agency. She married her former husband, Rudy Klein, after returning from Washington and raised 3 children. She worked at Bradlees Department Store snack bar, where her tuna salad was legendary, and she retired from TJ Maxx when she was well into her 70s. Pat was a happy person with a kind heart, and she loved being home with her family. She was an animal lover and adored the pets she had through the years, most of which were homeless until she adopted them. She loved to laugh and was affectionately tagged "Joker" by her children. Pat was modest and never considered herself skilled in the kitchen, but she baked the best chocolate cupcakes, brownies, and pound cakes. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and books, a good game of Pounce with her family, and loved sunny days and crab cakes at restaurants. She was her children's greatest supporter. She was loved and will be missed always. Pat is survived by her son and his wife, Douglas and Joy Klein; by her daughter and daughter's fiancé, Donna Killian and Bob Grote; and by her daughter and daughter's husband, Tam Klein and Tony Aiello. Pat was the loving grandmother of her four grandchildren and their spouses: Kelly Walters and her husband Justin; Sean Killian and his wife Valerie; Jack Klein; and Ryan Killian. Pat also leaves behind four great-grandsons, who only had the opportunity to love her briefly though she was so proud of them all: Liam Killian, Seamus Killian, Calan Killian, and Tullius (Tully) Walters. Pat is also survived by Rudy Klein, her former husband and caring friend. Services will be held at the Scanlin-McDonald Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914, on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
