Norman Kaplan, a resident of Irvine, CA and formerly from Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017. He was 87.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Max and Mary Kaplan. Norm is survived by his wife, Jennie (Carbone) Kaplan and three daughters, Nikki Fuller (Charles), Robin Miller (Brian), and Amy Kaplan. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Matthew Fuller, Jonathan Miller and Kelly Hayes (Alex) and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Dickert. His brother, Stanley Kaplan, predeceased him.
Norm was the co-owner of Buffalo Knitting Mills in Pen Argyl, PA prior to moving to CA. He was the owner of Juno of California prior to retirement. He is a graduate of Pen Argyl High School and Penn State University.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral service 11 AM, Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 E. Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA where the family will greet friends starting at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler, PA.
