Neil J. Gomeringer

Neil J Gomeringer, 71, of Chalfont, PA & Fort Myers, FL passed away on December 26, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 23, 1952, to the late George Gomeringer & Joan (Bozzuto) Gomeringer. Neil was a graduate of Central Bucks High School West, Class of 1970, and Penn State University, Class of 1979. Neil is survived by his only child & son Michael Gomeringer, his daughter-in-law Nicole (Roessel) Gomeringer and his grandchildren Raymond (RJ) Gomeringer, Ethan Gomeringer & Mikayla Gomeringer. Additionally, he is survived by his ex-wife & friend Carol (Gudknecht) Gomeringer and brothers Dennis Gomeringer, David Gomeringer and Robert Gomeringer, as well as his sisters-in-laws (Lynn, Manuela & Cindy) and his many nieces, nephews & friends. Neil was an avid runner and member of the Fort Myers Track Club. He competed in many races well into his later years of life. He loved discussing & was very knowledgeable of history & technology. He also enjoyed family gatherings and was known for his wit & humor. Neil will be truly missed by all his family & friends.

A memorial service will be held at Scanlin-McDonald Funeral Home at 175 East Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914 on Saturday, January 13th at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at the funeral home from 10 to 11AM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Neil’s name to the Parkinson’s Foundation or The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
