Michael J. Olinik

Michael J. Olinik of Montgomery Township, Pennsylvania, passed away at his home on February 18, 2021, with his wife of forty years Kathleen (Iorio) Olinik by his side.  Born on August 6, 1946, he was the son of the late Michael and Francis Olinik and was raised in West Oak Lane.

Michael was a proud Navy Veteran who worked with helicopters in Norfolk, VA.  He graduated from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences (now Thomas Jefferson University) and worked for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board as an auditor.  He enjoyed watching Philadelphia sports with his family.  He was happy to see the Eagles finally win a Super Bowl.

Michael is survived by his son Michael, his son Matthew and daughter-in-law Susan, his son Andrew and daughter-in-law Jocelyn, his brothers Gerald, Robert, and Steven, and his best friend William Trimarco.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate his Funeral Mass, 11 AM, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales, PA where the viewing will begin at 10 AM.  Please remember to wear masks and follow social distance guidelines.  Interment with military honors will be at Washington Crossing Cemetery.
