Melissa Catherine Sichler, 68, of Warminster, Pa. passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Melissa was born in Morristown NJ, the daughter of Kathryn E. Hoehn, and the late Robert J. Hoehn, Sr. Melissa, known as Missy to everyone, graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School in 1972. She graduated from Gwynedd Mercy University in 1976, with a degree in Mathematics. Throughout all four years at Gwynedd, Missy was the recipient of the Connelly grant. Beginning in high school and then all through college and beyond, Missy worked at Clemens Markets, progressing from cashier to department manager. She then stayed at home to raise her two children. Missy went on to a rewarding career at the Centennial School District, as an instructional aide for children with special needs. She retired in 2020, after more than two decades of service to the school district. Her hobbies included collecting antiques, genealogy, quilting, and sewing. She also enjoyed cooking and entertaining with friends. Missy was very active at St. Joseph Church, especially in the women’s group and the music ministry. Missy’s love, laughter, smile, generosity, selflessness, and kindness will be remembered by all. Her devotion to her sons was unparalleled. Family and faith were of the utmost importance to her. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Robert, Sr.; her two sons, Robert, Jr. and Christopher; her mother Kathryn; her two brothers, Robert (Diane) Hoehn, Jr. and Michael (Karen) Hoehn; her brothers-in-law, Richard (Denise) Sichler and Dennis (Carol) Sichler; 13 nieces and nephews, and 12 great nieces and nephews. Not surprisingly, there are also others who lovingly consider her as their aunt. She is also survived by her aunt and uncle, Bob and Grace Casey, and numerous cousins. Missy was predeceased by her father, the late Robert J. Hoehn, Sr. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, July 24th, at Scanlin-McDonald Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Avenue Chalfont, PA. 18914. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Missy’s life will be held on Monday, July 25th, at 11:00 am, at St. Joseph Church, 1795 Columbia Avenue Warrington, PA 18976. Prior to Mass, the family will receive visitors from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the church.
