Matthew Thomas Rinck

In Loving Memory of Matthew— Biker, Hiker and nomad at heart.  Matthew Thomas Rinck, 26, left us far too soon on April 17, 2025. His time with us was brief, but his impact was immeasurable.  Matthew was a force — spirited, kind, and unapologetically himself. He lived for the thrill of the outdoors, always chasing the next trail, the next mountain, or the next sunrise.  Hiking, biking, and extreme backpacking gave him peace and purpose.  He loved car meets, collected watches and knives with pride, and had a laugh that could fill a room and lift a heavy heart. He had a thing for scary movies, and a deep love for dogs — especially ones that needed a little extra love.

But most of all, Matthew loved his family. He was fiercely loyal and protective, especially of his cousins. He made us laugh, made us think, and made us proud. A man of conviction, he walked his own path, guided by a generous heart and a strong spirit.  He also loved milk. Really loved milk. And he made even that feel iconic.  Matthew’s story is one of passion, loyalty, and living without regrets. We will miss him every day — his spirit, his laugh, his way of seeing the world.

He is survived by his parents Thomas Rinck and Patricia Ann Rinck, his brother Stephen, Grandparents, Patrica and Vito Azzollini (deceased), Mary Canny and Jack Rinck (deceased), Aunts and Uncles, Felicia (Frank) Barra, Beth (Peter) Polcari, Phil (Gina) Azzollini, Michele (Dave) Azzollini-Maher, Mary Ann (Jerry) Tyler, John (Cheryl) Rinck, Dan (Bonnie) Rinck, Kathy (Craig) Laskos, Jennifer Joy, many cousins and a wide circle of friends who will forever carry his memory forward.

Funeral Mass Friday April 25, 2025, at 12 Noon at St. Rose of Lima Church 424 S. Main Street North Wales, PA 19454. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing at the church Friday after 10 AM. Interment Private.
