MaryPat Kuchan, 63, of Telford, PA passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 13th. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, colleague and friend.

Forever cherished and remembered by her four grandchildren: Gavin, Quinn, Marilyn, and Bennett. As well as by her sisters (Katie, Julie & Jeanne), brothers (John, Mike & Matt) and their families, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her friends.

MaryPat was predeceased by her father Mac, her mother Patricia, her brother Les, and her father in-law Paul.

MaryPat was born on November 22, 1959. She grew up as the eldest daughter in the McReynolds family of eight children in the suburbs of Chicago. While attending the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, MaryPat met the love of her life, Tom Kuchan. MaryPat and Tom married in 1982 and built an incredible life together for over 40 years. They moved around quite a bit while raising three children but home was always wherever they were together. MaryPat was a stay at home Mom who devoted her life to helping her children, but she was not just your average stay at home mother. She was also heavily involved as a volunteer and/or board member for various PTAs, Girl Scouts, SEPAFAPA, swim teams, and almost any other activity her kids were involved in. In her later years, as her nest emptied; She also loved giving her time, energy, and resources to NOVA, A Woman’s Place, and various other non profit organizations. She was a force to be reckoned with as anyone who worked with her can attest.

MaryPat was also an avid traveler who loved to explore the world and experience new cultures. She visited countless countries with friends and family. Some of the highlights of her travels include Ireland, Scotland, Iceland, Quebec, Spain, Africa, and just about every sunny beach in the Caribbean.

Above all though, Mary Pat’s greatest pleasure was caring for her family. She took an active role in the lives of her children and later her grandchildren as their Gigi. She loved to spend time with her family creating memories including planning many family trips abroad and stateside, playing “taxi” to all of the activities, and attending too many swim meets to count. All while still managing to spend quality time with each member of her family. MaryPat loved being a Mom and a Gigi, she had a huge impact on all of her (grand)children’s lives.

MaryPat touched the lives of so many people. She will truly be missed and will never, ever, be forgotten.
