Mary E. Lake

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mary E. Lake at her home in Pipersville, Thursday January 18, 2018. She was 73.

Born in Doylestown, she was the loving wife of John "Jack" Lake. Mary is survived by beloved children Guy Wakefield (Susan), Christine Nace (Rodney), Melissa Quinn (Edward), John Lake Jr. (Kris), Roger Lake (Sue Wolske) and Patricia Grow (Brad). Also surviving are her siblings David Fairfield, Ruth Chantelau, Tim Fairfield; 15 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and her little brown fuzz ball companion "Princess". She was predeceased by her brother Clayton Fairfield.

Mary was a graduate of CB West and Philadelphia College of the Bible. She was a current member of Hilltown Baptist and previous member of First Baptist of Doylestown.

She loved her time with her grandchildren, crocheting for charities, singing with various choirs and walks in the park.

Friends and family are invited to attend her Funeral Service 11 AM, Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Hilltown Baptist Church, 26 Upper Church Road, Chalfont, PA where the greeting will begin at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Hilltown Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to Hilltown Baptist Church at the above address or Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org .
