Marguerite C. Andre

Marguerite C. Andre, a resident of Harleysville and formerly of Chalfont, passed away at Doylestown Hospital Tuesday June 6, 2017. She was 80.

Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Marguerite Chieffo and wife of the late Julian J. Andre, Sr. She is survived by her children David Andre, Sr. of Boston, MA, Donna Andre Fuller (Jeff) of Harleysville, and Mark D. Andre (Becky) of New York; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great great grandson; numerous nieces and nephews and her brother Peter Chieffo. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son Julian Andre, Jr.; her daughter- in-law Joanne Andre; and four sisters and five brothers.

Marguerite came from a large family and was one of eleven children. In her early career, she worked as an LPN and later worked as a volunteer at Doylestown Hospital for 12 years.

Friends and family are invited to attend her Memorial Service, 11 AM, Friday, June 16, 2017 at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA where the greeting will begin at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marguerite's memory may be made to Doylestown Health Foundation, 595 W.
