Margaret Coles O'Reilly (Marge), a resident of Dock Woods Country Cottage in Lansdale, passed away Friday September 14, 2018 with her family by her side. She was 90.

Margaret was born in Salem, NJ to the late William and Margaret Coles on July 13, 1928. She went to Woodstown High School, NJ and graduated in 1947. She then went to college at Temple and obtained her Master's at the Tyler School of Art with a degree in Sculpting and Painting.

She worked as an art teacher for the George School in Newtown, PA and the Friends Central School in Wynnewood, PA. Marge (Mrs. O) and her husband Jim (Mr. O) created a summer camp called "Spring Lake Farm and Art and Music Day Camp" which ran for 35 years. Marge enjoyed her other passion of music, playing the violin for 50 years. She was a member of the North Penn Symphony Orchestra and did volunteer work for charity at the Women's Colony Club of Ambler. In her later years, Marge held art classes in her home for her club friends who were interested in fine art. She gave of her talent freely. Marge will be missed dearly but her values and work ethic of life will continue.

Marge is survived by her husband of 62 years, James A. O'Reilly of Lansdale and her three children Ann Neusidl (Bill) of Easton, PA, Margaret (Peg) Morrison (the late Thomas) of Lansdale, and Jim O'Reilly of Tallahasse, FL. Also surviving are her grandchildren William Neusidl, Kristen and Jeffery Morrison, and her sister Libby Myers (the late Harrison) of Woodstown, NJ. She was also predeceased by her nephew Billy Myers, her sister Frances Krauss and brother William Coles.

A Quaker service was held to honor her life with family at the Wayside Chapel on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 followed by her internment at Whitemarsh Memorial Park. Donations in honor of Marge O'Reilly's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
