Lilla Mae Stephenson

Lilla Mae Stephenson of Doylestown passed away Friday June 8, 2018 at Doylestown Hospital due to complications from a fall and a broken tibia. She was 62.

Born in Darby, PA, she is survived by her mother Rhoda Stephenson, sister Paula Applegate (Steve), niece Jamie Dawson, nephews Nat and Sam Elliott and great niece Kia Dawson. She was preceeded in death by her father Charles Stephenson, her sister Patti Elliott and her nephew Zachary Dawson.

Lilla grew up in Claymount DE while attending the Bush School then moved to Doylestown with her mother in 1998. She worked at the Elwyn Institute in DE, Genuardis, Weis and APS in Ivyland.

Lilla participate in the Special Olympics in DE, Special Vacations, Seekers at the YMCA and had a good eye for making baskets. She also enjoyed volunteering with her sister at the Lahaska SPCA. Lilla's favorite joy was spending time with her best friend, her mother, and her family. Lilla will always be loved and missed by her family and friends.
