Ladd J. Parsons, Sr.

Ladd J. Parsons, Sr., a resident of Ann’s Choice in Warminster, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the age of 92.

Born in Chicago, IL, Ladd was the beloved husband of the late Mary Ann Parsons (née Knott) for 64 years and the devoted father of Dana C. Reed (late husband Robert), Ladd J. Parsons Jr. (wife Judith), and Edan L. Rhodes (husband Matthew). He was preceded in death by three of his sons: Stuart, Brandon, and Craig.

Ladd is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Previously a resident of Cleveland, OH, Ladd graduated from Northwestern University in 1954 and served as a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He had a distinguished 44-year career in the cement manufacturing industry, during which his work was frequently highlighted in industry publications. Ladd’s career took him across the globe, with assignments in North and South

America, Europe, New Zealand, the Middle East, and Asia. He retired in 1997 from Medusa Cement Company, where his career was capped by the dedication of the Clinchfield Cement Plant in Clinchfield, GA, as the Ladd J. Parsons Operations Center in his honor.

Ladd was an active member of the Ann’s Choice community, where he took pride in being a founding member of the U.S. Constitution Club and was always eager to join a good card game. Above all, Ladd cherished his family and prioritized spending time with them whenever possible.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 W. Street Rd., Warminster, PA. The viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by interment at St. John Neumann Cemetery.
