Katherine R. Connery

Katherine R. Connery of North Wales, formerly of Doylestown, Warminster and Philadelphia, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 15th, 2022 at Park Creek Place in North Wales, PA. Katherine lived 81 rich years. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the 2nd eldest of five daughters, raised by Emmett and Marion Delany. In high school, Katherine, known to her family and friends as Kay, focused on her studies and enjoyed playing field hockey with her classmates at St. Cecilia’s and was known for her gentle spirit and kind nature. She was a devoted mother who focused on raising her four children and all the dogs and critters they brought home. She loved to celebrate the holidays and always made time to welcome family and friends to gather at the house to make memories together. Kay was an active member of her community who participated in everything from neighborhood chili cook-offs to kids’ talent shows, to chaperoning school trips for her grandchildren. She worked for Bucks County for over 25 years and was an active member of Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church in Montgomery township. Kay was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Connery and they enjoyed 44 years of marriage together. She was the beloved mother of Kathleen Brunner (George), Anne Connery-Lee (Rick), Joanne Connery (Bob) and Michael Connery (Michele) and sister to Marie Hardiman (James), the late Margaret Conway, Liz Delany (Marty), and Genie Kuscavage (Barry), beloved aunt of Robert, Chase, Kevin and Brian Connery, Colleen, Brian and Dan Hardiman, Tim Delany, Kim and Bob Burns, cherished grandmother of Vince Cartwright (Jenn), Michael and Brian Brunner, Jackson and Mason Lee, and great-grandmother to Maddison and Emmett.
