John Raymond Wenner

John Raymond Wenner, born on December 29, 1948, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 16, 2025 after battling brain cancer for three years. He was predeceased by his mother, Mildred Demusz Wenner, his father, Frank Wenner, and his sister, Doris Wenner Moran.

John is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Wormeck Wenner, and his sons, Daniel Wenner (Erin) and Tim Wenner (Eva). He is also survived by his brothers, Robert Wenner and Frank Wenner, and his sisters, Jaqueline Wenner and Janet Dalton. Additionally, John leaves behind his sister-in-law, Dale Wormeck, his stepdaughter, Meredith Deschambeau (Jason), and his stepson, David Michener (Amy). He was a proud grandfather to Emma, Lauren, and Abigail Michener, and Rhys Deschambeau. John will also be fondly remembered by his nineteen nieces and nephews.

Ray served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a former president of the Doylestown Moose Lodge. He volunteered with the Billy Graham Evangelical Association, providing disaster relief in several states. Ray was also dedicated to his church, Calvary Chapel Central Bucks, where he served as a greeter and usher. He traveled with several congregation members to various areas of the US as a volunteer with Samaritan’s Purse.

Services will be held at Calvary Chapel Central Bucks in Chalfont, PA, on Saturday, March 8th at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Ray’s name to Samaritan’s Purse.
