John R. Bromiley Sr., age 86, died peacefully at home in Warwick with his wife by his side. He was born August 20, 1935 in Philadelphia. He graduated from Olney High School and served in the US Navy for four years. John was a proud 54 year Free Mason of Doylestown Lodge #245, a 32nd degree Scottish-Rite Mason through Lehigh Consistory, Valley of Allentown and a Rajah Shriner. He was the founder of John R. Bromiley Company Inc, a reputable precision machine shop located in Chalfont, PA. Started in 1974, he built the business from the ground up and developed many deep rooted relationships within the community. He was a past president of the Delaware Valley Chapter of Safari Club International.John lived life to the fullest. His love of adventure led him around the world hunting and fishing with family and friends and then home again golfing and boating. His ability to bring a smile to anyone’s face will surely be missed. John was loved dearly by his late wife of 38 years Arlene (Adams) Bromiley. He is loved and survived by his wife Meg (Reilly) Balint Bromiley, his children Janet Kozak (Jeffrey), Diana Bromiley (Dave), John (Jack) R Bromiley Jr. and Jason Bromiley (Emily), and grandchildren Mitchell Kozak, Michael Wister, John R Bromiley III, Julie Bromiley. He is also survived by his step-children Thomas J Balint Jr (Stephanie), Patrick Balint (Bridget), and Barbara Farrell (Travis), and grandchildren Christopher Balint, Mitchell Balint, Ella Rose Farrell, Jasper Farrell and great-grandson Milo Balint. Visitation will be at 9:30 AM and Services at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 10th at Lenape Valley Presbyterian Church, 321 W. Butler Avenue, New Britain. Interment will follow at Doylestown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children’s Philadelphia Hospital, 3551 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140 (lovetotherescue.org)
