John M. Maguire, Sr.

John M. Maguire, Sr. of Chalfont, PA, 81, passed away on July 1, 2023. John was born to Edward A. and Anna M. Maguire (nee Dager) and raised in Philadelphia.
John graduated from La Salle College High School, entered the family mechanical contracting business as a teenager and took over that business until his retirement.
He loved skiing, played and coached ice hockey and got into golf later in life to stay active with his wonderful group of friends that he maintained from his childhood.
John was predeceased by his loving wife Patricia A. Maguire (nee Daugherty), and is survived by his children, Karen L. Brazzillo (Jason) and John M. Maguire, Jr. (Charlene), 2 grandchildren and his sister, Jo Ann Reckner. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday evening July 7, 2023, from 6 to 8 PM at Scanlin McDonald Funeral Home 175 East Butler Avenue Chalfont, PA 18914 and at St. Jude Church 321 West Butler Avenue Chalfont, PA 18914 Saturday July 8, 2023, from 10 to 11 AM. Funeral Mass 11 AM at St. Jude Church. Interment Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
