John J., Jr. ,95, passed away on October 25, 2022. Husband of the late Kathleen "Cass" and father of the late John J., III.  He is survived by his children; Karen Kreuter (Dan), Lynn Giacchino (Larry), Patricia and Steven (Jennifer). He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Joan, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A true Philadelphian, Jack was raised in the Grays Ferry section (St. Gabriel Parish). A graduate of South Catholic, Jack served in the US Army from 1946-1948. He joined the Philadelphia Police Force in 1953 and worked his way up to Chief Inspector, retiring in August 1988. A noted sportsman, Jack loved basketball, golf, fishing, racket sports and running marathons; but most of all he loved his family and his beloved Cass. Funeral Mass 11 AM Monday October 31, 2022, at St. Jude Church 321 West Butler Ave Chalfont, PA 18914. Relatives and friends are invited to the Church Monday after 10 AM.
