John G. "Jack" Mcneff

John G. “Jack” McNeff of Doylestown, PA was born on September 4, 1943, in Philadelphia to Kathryn (Daly) and Daniel McNeff. He was one of four children, Claire (Lannutti), Gerald, and the late Daniel. He graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School and LaSalle University and served in the Army National Guard. Jack enjoyed his career with Sears in Philadelphia and Chicago. He later returned to the area and worked for Ryan Homes. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, working on home projects, playing tennis, singing as a member of the OLMC Choir, traveling with his wife and family, and following his Phillies, Eagles, and college football teams. He was a proud uncle of 35 nieces and nephews.

Above all else, Jack was the beloved husband of the late Bernadette for 53 years, loving father of Jeanne Cooke (Edward), Jacqueline Tierney (Mark), John McNeff (Jennifer), and adored grandfather of Aidan, Zachary (Cooke), Elizabeth, Jake, Allison, Jack (McNeff), Kate, Sam, Claire, & Patrick (Tierney). We will remember Jack’s stories, humor, whistling, endearing nicknames, and wholehearted laugh.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, PA. Visitation will take place at 9:30 am and the funeral mass will follow at 10:30 am. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery at OLMC, Doylestown, PA.
