John “Jack” Gordon, 75, of Lansdale, was called home by his heavenly Father on October 28 th , 2024 after

a long-fought battle with cancer. He passed peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family.

At his core, Jack was a deeply devoted family man. His family always came first. Jack was an incredibly

proud father with his beloved Maureen (nee. Naylor) to Megan (Dan), Marita (Brian), Michael (John),

and Patrick (Colleen). His greatest joy, and favorite role, was as Pop Pop to his 8 adoring grandchildren

JD, Tyler, Brayden, Samantha, Jack, Gavin, Grayson and Ellie. Attending his grandchildren’s sporting and

school events was the highlight of his day and he would rarely be missed in their cheer sections. He was,

and forever will be, their #1 fan.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Anna Gordon (nee. O’Keefe), his brother Fr. M.

Gerald Gordon, TOR and in-laws Carol Gordon and Don Behm. He is survived by his brother Richard

Gordon, and his sisters Eileen Behm and Nancy Campbell (Pete).

Born in Northeast Philadelphia, Jack grew up attending North Catholic and Father Judge High Schools

and attended college at Youngstown State in Ohio, where he was a brother of Theta Chi. Throughout

Jack’s career, he was in various sales and management roles where he developed his strong work ethic,

which he instilled in his children. Frequently, co-workers became friends and friends became like family

with Jack’s quick wit and infectious laugh.

Jack’s favorite times were at family parties or on a golf course with friends. His dedication to his faith

and family never wavered in his struggles of health. The 5:15pm mass at MMR will have one less at-

home online streamer, but his spirit will always be with the Church.

A memorial service will be held on November 4 th , 2024 at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church (1325

Upper State Road, North Wales, PA 19454), where Jack was a founding member. Relatives and friends

are invited to a visitation between 9:00am and 10:30am with a funeral mass to follow at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made toward a cancer research charity

near to your hearts.
