It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John A. Sine. His family is deeply
saddened by his unexpected death. He is survived by his wife Mary, and his two sons
Jonathan(Kris) and Kevin(Kim), and his sister Janet and 5 grandchildren. He was greatly loved by
his family including Mary’s five children and grandchildren.
John was born and raised in Northern New Jersey born to Ralph and Florence Sine on May 27,
1946.
Immediately following High School he entered the Army National Guard and served faithfully
for over 30 years earning the title of Tank Platoon Sergeant. He possessed a strong love for his
country and was a true Patriot. It was one of his greatest honors to serve our country.
The family relocated to Warrington, Pennsylvania in 1980 so his children could attend
Plumstead Christian School. John remained in this house to the present.
John worked as a loan officer and enjoyed many years working in the industry making many
long lasting friendships and helping thousands in the joy of purchasing their homes.
John loved people and this was felt by all he came in contact with. He had a joy for life which
was demonstrated in the hobbies he enjoyed and in the communities in which he was actively
involved. One of his primary interests was motorcycles. Acquiring a motorcycle at age 50, he
quickly joined the Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA) and used his hobby to share his faith
through the motorcycling community. Anything to have the opportunity to share the Gospel.
Included in his hobbies, was a love for firearms and self-defense. While in the service he earned
multiple awards for sharp shooting and he took this skill and became a USCCA instructor to
train others in gun safety and how to defend themselves and defend the vulnerable.
John was greatly involved in his local church of Calvary Chapel Central Bucks (CCCB) where he
served in several ministries including the Men’s ministry leader, prison outreach program,
evangelism, and was the security team leader that ensured the safety of the congregation.
This was who he was, a protector and a guardian over people that reached from his immediate
family to his church family and anyone who needed it. John had a love for the less fortunate as
evidenced in his ministries. He would spend time going into correctional facilities to show
Christ-like love to prisoners. He would attend motorcycle rallies and share the love of Jesus to
the outcasts of society. In essence John loved people and he loved Jesus and he wanted
everyone to share the same love for Jesus he possessed.
The funeral service will be held Friday July 5 th . Visitation will be held from 11am to 12:00pm
with the funeral service to be followed immediately after. The services will be held at Calvary
Chapel Central Bucks 150 E. Butler Avenue Chalfont, PA 18914
