Jim Davis

James E. Davis, 88, of New Britain, passed away on December 12., 2024. Husband of Patricia (nee Joba). Father of Christina Davis and Timothy Davis (Laurel). Grandfather of Julius and Luxe Davis. 

Jim grew up in Saratoga Springs, NY and attended Buffalo State University, where he met Pat, whom he married in 1966. 

Jim taught in the Hatboro-Horsham School District. During his 29 years as a teacher, he taught woodshop, metal shop, photography and computer solutions. After his retirement, Jim continued to be an avid photographer, almost never seen without a camera at any given event. He also continued woodworking, often donating his creations for charity auctions.

A longtime member of the Lions Club International, Jim served at the local, state and district level during many years of service. 

Funeral Service 11 AM Friday January 3, 2024, at Scanlin McDonald Funeral Home 175 East Butler Avenue Chalfont, PA 18914. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at the funeral home January 2, 2024, from 5 pm - 7 pm or January 3 after 10 AM. Interment in Beulah Cemetery following the funeral service.
