Jean E. (nee Anderson), 92, passed away on January 10, 2023. Wife of the late William B. Abel and mother of Susan Abel and Scott Abel. She is also survived by her granddaughter Briana Tyson. Jean was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Anderson. Her life was guided by a strong faith which she shared with her many friends at Carmel Presbyterian Church and Lenape Valley Presbyterian Church. Jean was also an active volunteer for 27 years with the National Park Service as a guide at Independence Hall and in Historic Philadelphia. Her volunteering continued as a Docent at the James A. Michener Museum in Doylestown. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service at 1 PM Monday January 16, 2023 at the Lenape Valley Presbyterian Church 321 W Butler Ave, New Britain, PA 18901. In lieu of flowers donations in her name to either the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) or to Macular Degeneration Research (www.brightfocus.org/stopamd) would be appreciated.
