Janet M. Lapp

Janet Mac Nair Bailey Lapp left us to bring joy to Heaven on March 13, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.

Born in Eureka, PA, Janet was the daughter of the late Irvin and Mary (Larzelere) Mac Nair. She was predeceased by her second husband N. Watson Lapp, her first husband Eliot L. Bailey, her brother Ward F. Mac Nair, and her son Christopher L. Bailey. She is survived by her loving son Brian A. Bailey (Hilda Aguilar) and daughter Eileen Bailey Claypool (Thomas) and the many people whose lives she lovingly touched in her 96 years.

An active member of Pleasantville UCC from childhood, Janet volunteered at the church until the time of her death. She shared her wisdom as a high school teacher and church librarian, and inspired many. Mrs. Lapp was blessed with two happy marriages of over thirty years.

Friends and family are invited to attend her Funeral Service 11 AM, Saturday March 18, 2017 at Pleasantville United Church of Christ, 2424 Limekiln Pike, Chalfont, PA where the viewing will begin at 10 AM. Interment will follow in the Pleasantville UCC Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Pleasantville UCC library at the above address.
