Jane F. Hellberg

Jane F. Hellberg, 98, passed away on January 6, 2025. She was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania to Josephine and Lester Frankenfield on March 27, 1926. Jane was the wife of the late Herman F. "Joe" Hellberg, and mother of Richard Hellberg (Lisa), Jo Ann Bondar (Klaus) and Peter Hellberg (Sue). Jane is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Peter Hellberg (Karin), Alex Hellberg (Gina), Michael Bondar (Erika), Hope Hellberg, Raleigh Hellberg, and Sage Hellberg, and her four treasured great-grandchildren Drew Hellberg, Ava Hellberg, Wren Hellberg, and Jamie Bondar. 

Jane was the Valedictorian of her graduating class at Doylestown High School, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and then secured a position as a nurse at Doylestown Hospital. 

She was proud to be a lifetime member of the Village Improvement Association and a charter member of the Lenape Valley Presbyterian Church. 

As a retired couple, Jane and Joe split their time between Vail, Colorado, Green Valley, Arizona, and Chalfont, Pennsylvania. Jane loved to entertain. Throughout her life Jane enjoyed playing cards, especially Bridge, arranging flowers, playing the piano, singing, dancing, playing tennis, skiing until the age of 79, and golfing. Foremost Jane loved her family and looked forward to being with them until the very end. Under hospice care, she spent her final days in peace. 

A family graveside service will be held on a future date.
