Jacqueline M. (Roberge) Carignan,99, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, formerly of Somersworth, New Hampshire died peacefully with her daughter by her side on October 1, 2024. She is greatly missed by those whose lives she touched.

Jackie was the fifth of ten children born to Daniel and Lumina (Gagnon) Roberge of Somersworth,

New Hampshire. Within the Roberge family, Jackie was especially close to her four sisters. The Roberge

family socialized together routinely, and they supported each other in many ways throughout

their lives.

Jackie married Adrien (Cary) Carignan on June 28, 1947, and resided at 63 South Street in Somersworth. Cary passed on January 22, 1995, after 48 years of marriage. Jackie is survived by her three children, Ronald Carignan (Holly) of Gonic, New Hampshire, Doris Reece (Jim) of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, and Dennis Carignan (David) of Somersworth, New Hampshire; four grandchildren (Brice and Jake Carignan, Jason and Brian (Reece) and one great grandchild (Chase Carignan). In May of 2006, Jackie moved to Chalfont, Pennsylvania, to live with her daughter, remaining in Pennsylvania until her death.

Although Jackie worked outside the home off and on during her life, she will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. Family was everything to her, and her support was always guaranteed. Sundays were reserved for

church and family dinners, followed by games. She and Adrien enjoyed trips to Florida, Bermuda and Canada during their marriage. During the years she lived in Pennsylvania, Jackie and Doris enjoyed making puzzles together and played countless

card and cribbage games. She also accompanied Doris and Jim on vacations to Canada, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and Maryland.

Throughout her life, Jackie remained steadfast in the practice of her Christian faith. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on November 21, 2024, at St. Martin Roman Catholic Church, 120 Maple Street, Somersworth, New Hampshire, followed by internment at Saint Martin’s Cemetery.
