Ida M. Ciarlante

Ida M. Ciarlante, a resident of Chalfont, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 at Neshaminy Manor in Warrington.  She was 86.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James and Ida (Anzelone) Good.  She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Salvatore Ciarlante and beloved children Lori Heinlein (Mark), Mark Ciarlante (Tamie), and Lisa Guckin (Edward).  Also surviving are five grandchildren Chrisy, Mark, Lauren, Kelsea, and Olivia; six great grandchildren Evelyn, Jackson, Audrey, Connor, Shane, and Luca; and a sister Antoinette Staffieri.

Ida was the youngest of 11 children, 3 brothers and 7 beloved sisters. Ida's greatest gift was making those she loved feel special. Her capacity to give of herself was unparalleled. To know her was to be loved in a way you hadn't experienced before. No one knew that more than her family. One of Ida's many talents was bringing family together over a delicious meal, always followed by dessert and tea. She was known for her pineapple cheese pie and coconut custard. Her life was a testament to: you don't need to have much to make an incredibly positive and lasting impact on those around you.

Friends & family are invited to celebrate her Funeral Mass, 11 AM, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at St Jude Church, 321 W Butler Ave, Chalfont, PA. The viewing will begin at 10am. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org .
