Hugh J. Goettner

Hugh J. Goettner of Chalfont passed away peacefully on August 16,2022 with his wife of 65 years by his side. Hugh was born Oct. 31,1935 to the late Max and Katherine (Nocton) Preceded in death by his brothers Lewis and Max and sisters Joan Alio,Helen Laux,Mary Roomet, Miltilda Paugh,and Madeleine Leidy, surviving sisters Frances(Pete) Ciliberto and Christine. Hugh graduated from Lansdale Catholic. At an early age he worked at his family business Goettner's Bakery (Ambler) and Seaside Park Bakery (NJ). 1960 he would open the Upper Dublin Bakery (Willow Grove) as he loved baking for the community for 50 years until his retirement. Hugh loved his family vacations at LBI with his boat. cruises. antique cars and fine dining out. Hugh and Mary would go on and have four children, preceded in death by daughter Susan B.Goettner, survived by Hugh J. Goettner of Horsham, Cindy Perozze (Kevin), Kevin Goettner (Joy) and his seven grandchildren that will greatly miss Pop Pop. Rest in Peace Dad until we meet again, love you. Funeral Services will be private at the request of the family
