Hazel Goff, 94, of Audubon Pa passed peacefully on February 15, 2022. Hazel was born on October 7, 1927 in Weston WV to Laco and Velmah Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Jerry. She is survived by a loving husband of 71 years Kenneth; sisters Joan Hinzman (John) and Jean Bennett; daughter Deborah Muhleisen (Curtis) and son Brian; Daughter-in-law Susan; grandchildren Drew Muhleisen (Nicole), Karen Arcario (Christian) and Christiana Goff; great grandchildren Mya Muhleisen and Luke Arcario. Hazel played the French horn in high school and participated in 4H. After high school she went on to graduate from West Virginia University and marry her high school sweetheart Ken. They eventually settled in Pennsylvania and raised their three children. She was very active in the Church and Civic Club where she served as President for several years. She also taught sewing in the Adult Education program and judged quilts that were made in the quilting class. Hazel had a quiet way of bringing out the beauty of everything around her – flower gardens, butterflies she chased with her camera, oil paintings and needlework to decorate her home, and many other ways of expressing her love of natural beauty. Her beautiful oil paintings showed a wide variety of styles and topics, from beautiful country scenes and still lifes to paintings reflecting her vivid imagination. Services will be held at Valley Forge Baptist Temple, 616 S Trappe Rd, Collegeville (Intersection of Trappe Rd and Black Rock Rd) Monday February 21. Visitation will be held at 10 am. following by a service at 11. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at the Scanlin-McDonald Funeral Home website.
