Harriett W. Unrath

Harriett W. Unrath, 83, of Churchville, PA died peacefully at home on Monday, December 28, 2020.  She had battled Parkinson's disease for the last 29 years of her life.  She was born May 5, 1937 at Abington Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Wilhelmina McKinney.  Harriett grew up in Churchville, PA, and graduated from Council Rock High School.  She married Albert W Unrath Sr and moved Levittown and then to Chalfont, PA where she raised her family.

Harriett is survived by her husband of 58 years, Albert W. Unrath Sr, her two sons, Albert W. Unrath Jr and Harry W. Unrath, and her daughter in law Tricia K. Unrath.  She was also survived by her 4 grandchildren, Kelsey Pennell, Kaylee Pennell, Kamden Pennell and Hannah Unrath who brought joy to her when she was born to Harry and Tricia.  She was predeceased by her brother Harry D. McKinney.

Harriett lived life to the fullest with her family, traveling to every US state, Holland, and Germany.  Besides taking care of her family, she was passionate about decorating, and had the perfect eye for presenting objects into small displays that told a story.  She was a joy filled friend to everyone she met and kept her high school friends for her entire life.
