Hamilton F. Jenkins of Jamison, PA, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 73.
Hamilton, also known as Ham, was born October 6, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY.
He was the loving husband of Darlene L. (Moyer) Jenkins for 29 years. Hamilton joined the United States Air Force on October 5, 1966 and served for over 31 years. Hamilton reached the ranking of MSGT, earning multiple service accommodations, metals, and awards, including a Purple Heart, prior to retiring.
Hamilton was an avid reenactor for the American Revolution, a Star Wars fanatic, a passionate leather craftsman, and expert tinkerer, and a master storyteller.
Hamilton is survived by his wife, Darlene L. Jenkins; three sons, Hamilton F. Jenkins Jr., Nathaniel D.M. Jenkins, and his wife Anna, and Zachary C. Jenkins; a daughter, Ashley S. (Jenkins) Kraemer, and her husband Bradley; a granddaughter, Abigail G. Jenkins; and two granddaughters to be born later this year.
Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service, 11 AM, Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 E. Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA where the viewing will begin at 10 AM. Interment with military honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
