Gloria J. Bello of Norristown, PA, formally of Andorra passed away at home peacefully

surrounded by her family on Wednesday August 14, 2024.


Born on June 28, 1940, in Camden NJ, she was the daughter of Francis J. Schultz and Anna M.

Moffett. Gloria is survived by her beloved children Lisa Devenney (the late John Devenney III),

Steven J. Bello, Sharon Kronmiller (Danny) and Christopher Bello (Anna). Predeceased by her

beloved son the late Joseph F. Bello and her sister the late Barbara Lanutti.


Also, survived by four grandchildren Carly Vlahos (Tom), Danielle (Joe), Dominique (Liz) and

John and two great grandchildren George and Nicolas and many nieces and nephews.


She attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School, and graduate from Our Lady of Mount Carmel

Business School, Camden, NJ in 1956.


Gloria retired from Montgomery County Youth Center in 2008. She was loved by all her

coworkers and friends. She was famous for sneaking the children extra treats.


Gloria loved spending time with her family. She was blessed to have two great grandchildren

who brought her so much joy. She liked buying them school shoes and special treats and also

enjoyed their Conshy baseball games.


Whenever visiting her Jersey family or heading to Sea Isle City it was a must to slow down

before heading over the Ben Franklin Bridge to give money to the homeless.


Gloria loved music including Bruce Springsteen, she rocked at his concerts, Mariah Carey, John

Legend, Jay Z to name a few. She loved animals, especially Steve’s cat, and dogs Jake, North

& Girl.


In her younger years she loved Kennedy football games, starring Joe and Chris. Gloria loved to

travel with her friend Davette. She made the best Christmas cookies ever and her cookie trays

were beautiful and delicious and shared with family and friends.


She was young at heart till the end. She will be forever missed.


Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 10am and

followed by her Funeral Mass at 11am at St. Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill,

PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Philips Neri Church.
