Frank J. Hartley

Frank J. Hartley, formally of Chalfont, PA and Cape May County, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home, Monday April 30, 2018. He was 74.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Catherine Poate. Frank worked for The Budd Company in Hunting Park for over 24 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 1284 and Great Swamp Fishing Club. Frank had many hobbies which included fishing, hunting, being a soccer coach, going to the racetrack, and playing cards with his wife, sister and brother-in-law and family.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara Hartley (Janeczko); his daughters Pamela McBride (Brendan) of Sellersville, Trish Oniskey (Nick) of Tumwater, WA, and his son, Frank Hartley (CarolAnn) of Quakertown; his six grandchildren Shaymus, Quinn and Logan McBride, Owen and Mia Oniskey and Zoe Hartley. Also surviving are his sister, Florence Voss (Anthony) of Chalfont, niece, Barbara, nephew, Tony and his twin cousins, Alice Smith and Janice Neagle.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service, 11 AM, Friday, May 4, 2018 at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA where the greeting will begin at 10 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the PA Fish & Boat Commission, PO Box 6700, Harrisburg, PA 17106.
