Ethel S. Baker

Ethel Susan Baker (nee Capon) passed away peacefully after a bout with lung cancer, at her Chalfont home on June 10, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends. Ethel was the daughter to late Americus and Ethel Capone and sister to late Frank Capone. Ethel is survived by her four children William E. Baker, Susan C. (Baker) McGrath (Jim), Amy E. (Baker) McCawley (John), Bradley D. Baker (Barbara), 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Ethel was a graduate of Germantown High School. Her love for numbers was seen in her many years working as a bookkeeper and office manager in a law firm. Ethel enjoyed many hours playing bridge with her friends, watching movies on her special Tuesday movie day and growing an array of beautiful flowers in home gardens.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at Scanlin-McDonald Funeral Home, 175 E. Butler Ave, Chalfont, PA 18914 on Wednesday June 19, 2024 at 9:00am. Interment will be private.
