Emily Janet Gervais

Emily Janet Gervais passed away on January 28, 2018 having spent most of her life fighting Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She would have been three years old on February 16th. Throughout her treatment at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, she could be seen running down the halls providing free medical checkups to doctors and nurses, driving her cozy coupe to see which friends were out and about, and teaching everyone all they needed to know about Doc McStuffins and Paw Patrol. Her favorite playmate was her big sister, Eloise and she was so proud to have become a big sister herself in December of 2017 with the birth of her twin sisters, Katherine and Madeline.

Emily is predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Regina (nee Shandor) and is survived by her loving parents, Greg and Lisa, her three sisters Eloise, Katherine and Madeline, her maternal grandfather William C. Oswald, Sr. and his wife Ann of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and her paternal grandparents Gary and Janet Gervais of Portland, Maine. Additionally, she is survived by her loving Aunt, Mary-Elizabeth Gervais of Alexandria, Virginia, and uncles Christopher T. Gervais and his fiancée Theresa of Portland, Maine, William C. Oswald, Jr. of New York and John M. Oswald of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her great-grandparents William and Anna Oswald of Nazareth, Pennsylvania and Stephen and Elizabeth Shandor of Estero, Florida.

A public viewing will take place on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 10:00-11:00AM at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 AM at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales, PA. Interment will be private.
