Elsie M. Trotter

Elsie M. Trotter, a resident of Chalfont, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at her home. She was 87.

Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Elsie T. (Ansuini) Trotter and is survived by her brother, Anthony W. Trotter and his wife Ann. She is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Elsie attended Germantown High class of 1949 and was a 43 years employee of Bell Atlantic, retiring in November 1992. She was an active member of the Pioneers and, during the Korean War, she volunteered with the Salvation Army driving the canteen truck taking refreshments to the troops stationed in the area. She spent many years of traveling here and abroad. She attended Germantown High, class of 1949.

In her later years she enjoyed spending time with her family and taking a trip to the casino now and then.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her Funeral Mass, 11 AM, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at St. Jude Church, 321 West Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA where her visitation will begin at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Church at the above address.
