Ella (Ellie) Richardson-Fisher passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Doylestown Hospital. She had just turned 90 on September 1 and had relocated to Lakeview assisted living in Doylestown.

Ellie was a lover of life and lived her life to the fullest. She was the loving and devoted wife and partner to and predeceased by three lucky men: James L. "Pete" Richardson Sr., Arnold "Zip" Zipparilla and Carl Fisher. She is also predeceased by her son, James L Richardson Jr., and her Daughter, Carol Richardson, and grandson, James Richardson.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Aloysius and Anna Smith Dittmar. Ellie was the last surviving sibling, being predeceased by brothers Clifford, Melvin, William and Albert.

Ellie is survived by her grandchildren:

Jennifer Duonnolo, Jason Richardson and Kristen Richardson; and her great grandchildren: Alyssa Richardson, Christian Richardson, Ralph Duonnolo IV, and Stephen Moleski.

Ellie had been a resident and an active member of the community in The Village at Neshaminy Falls since buying her home there in 1983. She had many interests and was always on the move. She directed the Village Singers, a community choral group, producing Christmas and Spring concerts for many years. Everyone will remember her famous telling of jokes, adding fun and spice to every concert.

Ellie was a champion bowler, an excellent bocce player, and an intense card player. To say she was competitive would be a gross understatement.

Ellie was always well dressed and impeccably groomed with her trademark red hair and lipstick.

She loved holidays, traditions, celebrations and parties. Ellie especially loved Christmas. You could always count on her to have her home beautifully decorated. (She left us with 18 bins of holiday decorations.) She loved baking cookies during the holidays. She would fill many tins with many different kinds of cookies. Her favorites were her famous “Jelly Thumbprint Cookies."

She loved buying and giving presents, especially for her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren. "GG", as they called her, was the master of ceremonies, handing out presents one at a time, making the children wait patiently. Of course, the present-opening would be followed by a wonderful holiday feast.

Ella loved to travel and visited many different places. She was especially fond of cruises. Evidence of her travel adventures could be seen in the many souvenir mugs throughout her home.
