Elisabeth F. Martin

Elisabeth (Lisa) Martin died Sunday, April 2, 2017, at Pine Run Health Center in Doylestown, PA after a long illness.

She leaves behind a loving family and many friends she made around the country while pursuing her passion for horses. Lisa grew up in Chalfont, PA and attended Saint Jude Elementary School and Archbishop Wood High School. She was employed by several of the leading trainers and racing stables in the United States. She loved music and was inseparable from her beloved dog, Kizzy. Her infectious enthusiasm for life and for her work left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Lisa's family is deeply grateful to Dr. James Blore and to the Staff at Pine Run Health Center for their extraordinary care and compassion.

On Thursday, April 6, 2017, a greeting hour will begin at 10am, and a Funeral Mass for Lisa will follow at 11am at Saint Jude Catholic Church, 321 W. Butler Ave, Chalfont, PA 18914. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association ( www.heart.org ).
