Eleonore M. Faulkner

Eleonore M. Faulkner of Chalfont passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at home with family at her side on her wedding anniversary. She was 93. Eleonore was the loving wife of the late Edward to whom she was married for 61 years. Eleonore is survived by her brother Francis Voegler (Teresa) and by her dear children, Eleonore Berke (Carl), Gerard (Carol) and Anne Marie Soteros (Brian). She was a loving grandmother to Jeanne, Theresa, Christine, Meghan and Edward and great-grandmother of eight. Eleonore was also lovingly cared for by her good friend Kelly. Eleonore was born and raised in South Ozone Park, NY and resided over the years in Floral Park, NY, Texas, North Merrick, NY and Chalfont for the past 31 years. Eleonore’s Roman Catholic faith and devotion to the Blessed Mother led her to be involved with many church activities including extraordinary minister, Rosary Society, pro-life causes, food pantry and visiting the homebound. She also participated in the St. Jude Church Seniors group and the Highpoint aqua exercise club. Eleonore will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and friend to all. Eleonore enjoyed sewing, making crafts, gardening and traveling. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life at her funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2021 at St. Jude Church, 321 W. Butler Ave. (Route 202), Chalfont, where the viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Church or School, Chalfont.
