Doris C. Blackburn, a resident of Chalfont, passed away Thursday May 17, 2018 at Neshaminy Manor. She was 93.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Gertrude Corbett and wife of the late Robert Blackburn. Doris is survived by her son Brian Blackburn (Donna), eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons Mark L. Blackburn (Marilyn) and Ross Blackburn.
Doris was a longtime member of the Chalfont Fire Co. Women’s Auxiliary, Senior Citizen’s of St. Jude, Central Bucks Seniors and Meals on Wheels. She was also a “grandmother” to the many children who attended Katie’s Place Home Day Care.
Friends and family are invited to attend her Funeral Service 10 AM, Monday, May 21, 2018 at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA where the viewing will begin at 9 AM. Interment will follow at Rosedale Memorial Park in Bensalem. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Chalfont Fire Co., 301 N.
